Welcome to the 16th Annual 2011 Nahant Santa Parade PagE!

Lieutenant Thomas Hutton started The Nahant Santa Parade for the children of Nahant after viewing the Lynn Christmas Parade with his 10 year old son Jeff. He tried for several years to get it going and finally in 1995 with the help of Chief Joe Manley and Lieutenant Dean Palumbo of The Nahant Fire Department.  Everyone's participation is encouraged. 2011 Parade Details: Date: December 17, 2011 Formation Time: 1715-1730 (5:15-5:30PM) Hot Refreshments Served To Participants Parade Start: 1800 or 6PM...Sharp! Location: Tides Restaurant "M.D.C. Parking Lot" Fundraiser: The Tides Restaurant December 10th, 2011 6--9PM Gifts, Raffle & Grand Prize Donations: Gift donations for the Raffle can be dropped off at the Nahant Police Station Cash Donations: Can be made to " Nahant Christmas Parade" and sent to the Equitable Bank at 28 Nahant Road, Nahant MA 01908 Proceeds: Benefit the Item Santa, My Brother's Table, Scholarships for Nahant Graduating Students and other Local Charities Committee: Lt Tom Hutton of Nahant Police, John Paula, Andy Puleo, Mike Kairevich, Karen Wilfred, Roz Puleo, Jean Mullen, Nancee Peters, Larry and Paula Smith, Dawn Bavaro and Kenny Doyle. Parade Donations/Proceeds Benefit: Our $1,000 Scholarship Fund (1 Boy and 1 Girl) Town Recreation, Lynn Item Santa and other Charatable Organizations All Town Departments Represented: Fire, Police, DPW, Harbormaster, and lots more! Our Floats: We started with 10 floats and currently have 75-80. All floats welcome and appreciated.
