Town of Nahant

Welcome to the Are You OK Program

The Are You O.K. program is a public service run by the Nahant Police Department.

The service offers to the elderly, homebound or physically disabled residents of the Town Of Nahant a daily telephone call to check on their welfare. The program is computer controlled and monitored constantly by the Nahant Police Department.

Participants in the program are called each day at a preselected time. If we receive an answer to the call and all is in order no further action is taken. If no one answers the call the computer generates an alert and the police respond to the residence.

To be included in the "Are You O.K.? Program" all you need to do is contact the Nahant Police Department and request an application. There is NO COST for this service.

If you would like more information about this program please call us at 781-581-1212 or E-Mail us at info@nahantpolice.org
Sincerely,

William F. Waters
Chief Of Police
